The Columbia I-70 Bridges Project is an $18 million design-build project to replace the I-70 bridges over Business Loop 70/West Boulevard, Garth Avenue, and MO Route 763/Rangeline Street in Columbia, Mo.

Route OO Bridge Hinkson

Nov. 19-29, 2014

The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting to provide information on plans to replace the Route OO bridge over Hinkson Creek, southwest of Hallsville. The proposed work will improve safety for motorists who utilize the bridge. The bridge and road will be completely closed during the work, which is scheduled to last approximately 3 to 4 months.  Detours will be signed along state routes. The project is scheduled to be awarded in spring of 2015, with construction tentatively scheduled to take place in the summer of 2015.

Route E & UU Bridge Improvements

Nov. 13-23, 2014

The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting to discuss bridge improvements on Route E and Route UU in Boone County. The improvements include: The redecking of the bridges over Perche Creek and Rocky Fork Creek on Route E located about 2.5 miles north of I-70 and the replacement of the bridge over Sugar Branch Creek on Route UU located 2 miles south of I-70. It will be necessary to close Route E and Route UU and detour traffic. The project is scheduled to begin in summer of 2015.
