Population:  13,062 Maintenance Buildings located in: Chamois, Linn, Meta   Route 63 Environmental and Location Study MoDOT is conducting an environmental and location study to evaluate potential future transportation needs along a 47-mile stretch of Route 63, from 1/2 mile south of the Route 50/63 junction in Osage County to just north of Rolla in Phelps County. The study is an objective process to help determine what actions, if any, are needed to best serve the transportation needs of the area. MoDOT plans to construct a new four-lane divided highway from the Route 50/63 junction to County Road 604 west of Linn to increase roadway capacity and improve safety.
