Noland Road I-70 Project Ahead of Schedule;

Project Should Be Completed Mid-August

Thanks to the hard work of our contractor APAC - Kansas Inc,  the Noland Road Bridge spanning I-70  opened a month sooner that expected on Friday, April 18. Ramp work and other work will continue through mid-August.

Temporary striping, has been placed to provide two thru lanes in both directions, from the eastbound ramps to the south. The eastbound entrance ramp will be closed to complete the ramp work beginning June 10 through June 25, weather permitting.

Work on the north side of the interchange has begun. Retaining wall construction on the east side of Noland, and rock fill placement on the west side are taking place. These two items of work will allow for additional lanes on Noland.

The project will impact 1-70 traffic again in mid-July . According to the project schedule, all ramps should be complete and open to traffic by mid-August. At this time we will celebrate the completion of this important project
