	Single State Registration System The Single State Registration System program EXPIRED on Jan. 1, 2007. The program that replaces SSRS is called Unified Carrier Registration. When it was in effect, SSRS allowed motor carriers to register for authority in each jurisdiction they need to operate in. The system tracked insurance coverage and provided information to roadside enforcement officers.
