Approaches
To Be Paved During Week of October 25
MoDOT, District 8, Springfield --
Drivers should be alert for slowdowns along U.S. 60/Route 413
in Republic during the week of October 25 when paving crews are
scheduled to work at city street approaches and business entrances,

Contractor crews plan to pave the
approaches to the highway during daytime hours.
This work may require half a business
entrance to be blocked and one-lane traffic at city street approaches.
Drivers on U.S. 60/Route 413 should
be prepared for vehicles slowing down on the highway and turning
slowly into driveways and side streets.
Other work planned during the week,
although weather may cause delays or changes:
* Concrete to be poured for new islands
at the Hines and Elm street intersections with U.S. 60/Route 413.
Traffic will be moved away from where the work is taking place.
* Paving on U.S. 60/Route 413. Traffic
will be shifted away from where crews are set up.
* Installing street lights, building
concrete sidewalks and laying sod along U.S. 60/Route 413. This
work at various locations along U.S. 60/Route 413 will take place
AWAY from traffic.
No night work is planned for the week.
Week of November 1
