The demolition of the old Missouri River Bridge was awarded to Anderson Excavating and Grading Co. who submitted the low bid of $1,284,219.00. The old bridge was replaced by the Senator Christopher S. Bond Bridge, which was built just west of the old structure and the dedication ceremony was held on October 12.
The project office is located at the old firehouse in Hermann and the phone number is 573-486-0159 or you may also contact the Mexico Project Office at 573-581-8320. Although the inspectors on this project are not in the office a lot (their real "office" is out working with the contractor), they will be glad to answer your questions.
