All work subject to change due to weather or priority adjustments. Motorists are urged to exercise caution while passing through work zones. Workers may be on or near the roadway. Signs will be posted and flag persons will be present in areas where traffic will be impacted. Carter County

Roadway Maintenance

Route 21:
MoDOT crews will perform patching on the roadway. This function restores rideablility of the roadway surface.
Route E:
MoDOT crews will be performing temporary maintenance to the roadbed by digging up soft spots and placing gravel in them. The gravel will be replaced with asphalt in all soft spots at one time. This project could take several weeks before all repairs are completed.
Route J:
MoDOT crews will perform patching on the roadway. This function restores rideablility of the roadway surface.
Various Routes:
MoDOT crews will replace, install and or maintain roadway signs in the Van Buren, Mo. area.

Carter County & Shannon County
Construction Project

Route 60:
Contractor crews are constructing lane additions.
Location:
From Winona, Mo. to west of Van Buren, Mo., includes grading, paving, culverts and bridges.

Crawford County

Construction Project

Route 8:
Contractor crews will perform shoulder repairs. This function removes ruts, low areas and high spots on the shoulders.
Location: Steelville, Mo. to east of Route 19 and from Route 185 to AA.

Route 8:
Contractor crews are resurfacing the roadway and constructing shoulders.
Location:
Beginning at Steelville, Mo. and ending east of Route 19, two disconnected sections.

Roadway Maintenance

Route 19:
MoDOT crews will repair edge ruts. This function eliminates shoulder drop-off by placing rock or
other material in ruts along the edge of the roadway. Crews will also be working on driveways and
approaches.
Location: South of Cherryville, Mo.
Route C:
MoDOT crews will pave over the roadway surface to restore smooth ride.
Location: Route C from Bourbon at north service road to junction of Route CC.
Route CC:
MoDOT crews will pave over the roadway surface to restore smooth ride.
Location: Route CC from junction of Route C to junction of Route 19.
Route H:
MoDOT crews will pave over the roadway surface to restore smooth ride.
Location: Route H south from service road junction to the junction of Route MM.

Route 32 & Route AC:

Howell County

Construction Project

Route 60:
Contractor crews are grading, performing drainage work, paving, constructing bridges and
performing signal work.
Location: Beginning Route 63, near Willow Springs, Mo. to east of Route 17 north, near Mountain
View, Mo.
Route 142:
Construction of two disconnected box culverts. Bridge is opened, reduced to one lane for diamond
grinding.
Location: Beginning east of the intersection of Route JJ to west of the intersection of Route 17 near Lanton, Mo.

MoDOT crews will perform patching on the roadway. This function restores rideablility of the roadway surface.
Route Y:
MoDOT crews will pave over the roadway surface to restore smooth ride.
Various Routes:
MoDOT crews will work on driveways and approaches, perform vegetation control, perform work to improve drainage, make repairs to driveways and entrances, repair edge ruts and replace, install and or maintain roadway signs.

Crews will widen and overlay existing Route 63, stripe for alternating passing lanes and perform
bridge rehabilitation.
Location: Beginning south of Business 63 intersection in West Plains, Mo., to Route 19 at Thayer,
Mo.

Iron County

Roadway Maintenance

Route 21:
MoDOT crews will perform concrete replacement on the roadway.
Location: Route 21 – Arcadia, Mo. area
Route 72:
Deck repair to the bridge located over Stouts Creek.

Iron County and St. Francois County
Construction Project
Route 221:
Contractor crews are extending culverts, adding shoulders and constructing both centerline and
edgeline rumblestrips.
Location:
Extends from Route 21 in Iron County to Route 67 near Farmington, Mo.

Location: North of Route W over Beaver Creek.
Route 63:

passing/climbing lanes.
Location: North of Edgar Springs, Mo. south to County Road 6280.
Route 63:
Contractor crews are resurfacing with Bituminous Pavement, including shoulders, with
passing/climbing lanes and bridge rehabilitation at Yancy Mills and Little Piney River.
Location: From south of Route CC (Rolla, Mo.) to 3.6 miles south of Little Piney River near Edgar
Springs, Mo.
Route 63:
MoDOT crews will perform work to improve drainage. Drain work keeps the roadway dry and
maintains stablility and proper drainage of water from the travel lanes.
Location: South on Highway 63

Roadway Maintenance

MoDOT crews will perform milling on the roadway. Milling removes excess material from cracks and
joints.
Location: Highway 63 north in the city limits of Rolla, Mo.
Route Y:
MoDOT crews will perform a chip seal to seal out moisture and restore the roadway surface.

MoDOT crews will patch potholes to restore shape and roadway stability.
Location: Highway 63 north in town of Rolla, Mo.
