The public is invited to attend a ribboncutting ceremony on Monday, Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m. to officially commemorate completion of the Route 67/Fairgrounds interchange construction in Park Hills.  The event will be held at the new interchange.  Attendees will need to access the ceremony site via the west service road.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Christian Life Church, 4905 Flat River Road.

The project included constructing the interchange, bridge and ramps.  The project is located about two miles south of the Route 67/32 interchange at Leadington.

The $6,822,142 construction contract for the project was awarded to Robertson Contractors Inc., Poplar Bluff, in August 2006.
