SIKESTON-Work to seal the deck of the Route 91 bridge over Drainage Ditch No. 1 in Scott County is expected to take place Wednesday, Oct. 19, weather permitting.  As work is underway, the roadway will be reduced to one lane. Traffic will be flagger controlled.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

The bridge was replaced through the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program. The program will improve over 800 of the state's lowest-rated bridges by winter 2013.
