SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a contract during its regular meeting on May 2 for bridge painting. The $299,000 contract was awarded to Thomas Industrial Coatings, Inc., Pevely, Mo.

The project includes painting 14 bridges at locations throughout the Southeast District.

MoDOT will alert drivers prior to any changes in traffic.   Drivers are urged to use extreme caution near the work zones.
