WILLOW SPRINGS - Route 181 in Douglas and Texas Counties will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform a thin lift asphalt overlay.

This section of roadway is located from Route 76 in Douglas County to Route AD in Texas County.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, October 9 through Friday, October 19 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.   

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
