Southbound I-55 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

The first section of roadway is located from Route K to Route F and will begin at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 and reopen Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m.

The next section of roadway is located from Route T to Route 51 and will begin Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 a.m. and will reopen Friday, Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
