What's the problem? Route 67 Madison, Wayne and Butler Counties. needs improvmeents to accommodate projected traffic demands and improve safety. What's the solution? The city of Poplar Bluff recently passed a tax to fund a portion of the improvements.  Where does it stand? MoDOT is working to accelerate plans necessary for the roadway improvements. Several contracts have already been awarded with work underway. What's happening now? Construction and design work is ongoing.  Map of Phases and timeframe What's the timeframe?  MoDOT expects the road to be widened to four lanes by the end of 2012.
