I-55 Improvements

 

What's the problem? 

Pavement on I-55 is rough and water is pumping through.

What's the solution?

MoDOT plans to underseal the pavement to prevent the water from pumping through and resurface from Biehle to Perryville.

Where does it stand now? 

A contract was awarded in March 2008.

What happens next? 

The improvements have been completed, and striping is underway.
