	In Memory Arthur C. Walker, Jr. Died July 11, 1997 Art Walker was working on Highway 39 in Lawrence County. A truck hauling a backhoe came around a corner—60 mph in a 30 mph work zone—bad brakes. Walker died when the the truck hit him.
