Option A
1. Build new 2-lane bridge on downstream side of existing bridge (1 year construc tion). New bridge will connect Route 76 at a new round-about on the Hollister side and Branson Landing Boulevard on the Branson side
2. Switch traffic to new bridge
3. Close existing bridge for rehabilitation (1 year construction)
4. Open existing bridge
Project completed in late 2011: Two bridges side by side, with each bridge carrying two-way traffic
Estimated cost: $17 million

Option B
1. Build new 2-lane bridge on downstream side of existing bridge (1 year construc- tion). New bridge will connect Route 76 at a new traffic signal on the Hollister side and Route 76/Business 65 on Branson side
2. Switch traffic to new bridge
3. Close existing bridge for rehabilitation (1 year construction)
4. Open existing bridge
Project completed in late 2011: Two bridges side by side, with existing bridge carrying two lanes toward Hollister and the new bridge carrying two lanes toward Branson
Estimated cost: $16 million

Timeline
• Start construction: December 2009
• New bridge complete: Fall 2010
• Rehabilitation of old bridge complete: Fall 2011
