ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., will shift traffic in two locations on Route 94 in St. Charles County on Friday, August 5 as part of the Route 364 upgrade project.
The traffic shifts will take place between the morning and evening rush periods.
Traffic on Central School Road north of Route 94 will be placed on newly constructed concrete on the west side of Central School Road. One lane in each direction will be able to get through between Route 94 and St. Peters Howell Road. Traffic at the intersection at Route 94 will remain the same.
Crews will also open a section of the new north outer road at Harvest Drive. Traffic between Harvest Drive and the existing signal at Route 94 and Harvest will be two-way temporarily. Traffic on Harvest Drive will not be able to access Central School Road from the new north outer road at this time. The outer road east of Route 94 and Harvest signal will remain one-way.
This is part of a $25.5 million project to extend Route 364 from west of Central School Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Charles County. Crews will also construct bridges at Kisker Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive over the new route. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2012.
