ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor L. Krupp Construction, will close lanes on Ballas Road between Clayton and Conway roads to replace curbs and sidewalks, starting August 22.

Crews will close one lane on northbound Ballas Road between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. weekdays.  Occasionally, work will require a lane closure on southbound Ballas Road or turn lanes as well. The curb and sidewalk replacement should be complete by Labor Day.

This is part of a $1.5 million project to repair and resurface Ballas Road between Manchester and Conway roads.  Resurfacing work should begin on the roadway after Labor Day and be complete by late October. Details on that work will be released when available.
